PARAGLIDING

This activity is held in Cerro Arco ( 1740 m) located 12 km from the city of Mendoza. Once we arrive to the hill we will ascend a slanted slope of 900 km in a 4WD vehicle. Once at the top an instructor will give us directions to the take off!

 

IMPORTANT: with ascending winds the flight will reach an altitude of   2500 m, from where you will be able to see Cordon del Plata, one of the principal parts of the Andes mountain range, you can also observe Mendoza city and its surroundings.

 

FLIGHT LENGTH: with favorable winds you will be able to make a flight between 25 and 40 min. If there are unfavorable winds the flight shortens to 10 or 15 min

 

In case the weather conditions are unstable and the instructor states the impossibility to make the flight, this will be rescheduled to the next day, if necessary you will be reimbursed the money

 

Departure: 9:30am or 2pm (depending on the year season)

Arrival: 1:30 pm or 6 pm (depending on the year season)

Length: half day

Season: all year round

Age limit: over 12 years old
