1. HIGH ANDES
It is a wonderful tour through all the most important and typical views of Mendoza, like Potrerillos and its dam, Uspallata Valley, Penitentes Hill, the incredible human-shaped rocks and it’s ski centre, The astonishing Puente del Inca (Inca’s Bridge), it’s history and it’s thermal water, The Aconcagua Park view point, the highest mountain in the American Continent, where we take a walk to Horcones Lagoon, finally Las Cuevas and Cristo Redentor, a historical monument, landmark between Argentina and Chile (we visit it only in summer due to difficult weather conditions). There are programmed stops during the tour, one of them is at lunchtime (lunch is not included).

Recommendations: you should take the appropriate clothing for the season but always take a windbreaker.

2. HIGH ANDES AND VILLA VICENCIO
This excursion covers most part of our historical background and our wonderful mountain range area, in this way, satisfying our visitors’ highest expectations.
We start from the city towards route 52 which will take us to Valle Villavicencio, this marvellous place it is famous for its thermal water, we will also visit an antique hotel which worked in former times. Further in our tour we will find the 360 turns highway, also called “the year route”, reaching the highest point named: Cruz de Paramillos located at 3200 over sea level, from where we will appreciate the whole Villavicencio Valley.
After that, we’ll start to descend towards the Jesuits’ Town where you can discover their architectural legacy and later we’ll go on to old silver mine, nowadays out of use.
 Then we’ll arrive to the ancient “Bóvedas”, and the mineral smelting ovens.
Going on Rout 7we’ll find Puente Picheuta, it is a national monument with an important historical reference. Next, we will visit Penitentes Ski Centre, where we will appreciate the amazing human-shaped-rocks. Following the International Highway we will see the amazing and strange, naturally formed Incas’ Bridge (Puente del Inca) where we’ll find the famous thermal waters. We’ll go past the Anconcagua Climber’s Cemetery to arrive to Parque Provincial Aconcagua, home of the highest peak of the Western World, the Aconcagua of 22.841,21 feet above sea level (6962 meters). There we will take a walking tour to Horcones Lake and to the view point from where we could see the south face rout of the Aconcagua Mountain.
We will continue to our last destination: Las Cuevas (the caves) this is the last town before Chile, and we will start our ride back to the city, which will take us to Potrerillos a small town located 37,28 mi (60 km) away from the city centre, from where we could see the Potrerillos Dam and Mendoza River, where the main water sports are practiced, such as rafting, kayak, and more.

3. HIGH ANDES 2 DAYS 
This tour is a mix between the first and the second tour. The excursion starts on route 52 to arrive at Villavicencio after we visit the area we go up the Paramillos highway, up to Cruz de Paramillos, which is a perfect viewpoint of the Andes mountain range, Cordillera del Tigre and Cerro Aconcagua. After that, we’ll start to descend towards the Jesuits’ Town where you can discover their architectural legacy and later we’ll go on to old silver mine, nowadays out of use. Then we’ll arrive to the ancient “Bóvedas”, and the mineral smelting ovens. Going on Rout 7we’ll find Puente Picheuta, it is a national monument with an important historical reference. Next, we will visit Penitentes Ski Centre where we will stay overnight at Hostel Penitentes, it also belongs to Hostelling International, there, we will have dinner and finally we’ll go to rest. On the next day we will continue our tour, after breakfast, towards Puente del Inca, the amazing, strange and naturally formed Incas’ Bridge where we’ll find the famous thermal waters. After this we’ll go to the best Aconcagua’s view point and we will start our trip back to the city making a stop at the Potrerillos Dam.

4. WINERIES
This tour starts in Mendoza city from where we’ll go to the main winery area in Mendoza (Maipú and Luján). There is a guided tour to different styles of winery, those could be: boutique or industrial which will allow us to compare both type of process. Also there will be able to taste their exquisite wines, making clear that Mendoza is the principal wine producer in Argentina and has the biggest wine exportation industry in the country.

5. WINERY FULL DAY
This tour has been designed specially for those who are interested in learning in deep about the whole wine making process of each of the four wineries we will visit. This tour has two parts: we will visit two wineries in the morning which are different in their type, one is a boutique winery and the other is the industrial kind. At noon we will enjoy a typical Mendocino lunch in Dique Chipolletti with an unbelievable view of the Andes, a section known as Cordon del Plata, then, we will continue our tour to the other two wineries. In each winery we will enjoy of wine tasting and a talk on how to do it with a good wine. This way we finish our interesting and instructive tour hopefully satisfying the highest expectations of our guests.

IMPORTANT: Together with the wineries we will visit the biggest Latin American wine museum: Felipe Rutini, located in Maipú, also known as La Rural. There a specialized guide will lecture about such an important winery.

6. CITY TOUR

Then we visit Area Fundacional, where Mendoza was founded for the first time in 1561, also the City Hall, and its park, Cerro de la Gloria, a magnificent monument to General San Martin from we will enjoy a beautiful view of the city and of the Andes. Up to here our tour through Mendoza’s important history and architectural beauty.

There is also a view point from where we will be able to appreciate the valley and the Andes.

8. SAN RAFAEL AND CAÑON DEL ATUEL
In this tour you will witness the beautiful landscapes of the South of Mendoza. We will visit San Rafael, a city located 200 km from Mendoza, and there are many dams in this area. We will visit: Valle Grande, Los Nihuiles, Villa 25 de Mayo, Cuesta los Terneros.
Recommendation: bring a small back pack with water and lunch.
 
Optional: you can practice rafting in Rio Atuel by upgrading your tour for only $15 pesos. In case you wish to practice rafting, you should take bathing suit, towel and a complete change of garments.
